Concrete Cowboy is a high-energy restaurant and sports bar featuring a one of a kind food menu and over 40 big screen tv's. Part nightclub, part sports bar, the industrial-chic nightlife destination has quickly become one of the area’s most frequented meeting places since opening in March 2017. It is part of the SoClutch Group, a chain that has an extensive following with locations in Dallas, Austin, Houston and Frisco. It’s the fourth location for the Texas-based chain and the first outside of the Lone Star State. Concrete Cowboy wants River North to get down, catering to all sorts of partying city dwellers with DJs, 44 TV screens for sports, and room for dancing.

Concrete Cowboy features a laid back atmosphere, good food, and a clean, industrial style design inspired by country music. This isn’t Chicago’s first rodeo, but with its fun western theme, is the perfect place to spot during birthday, bachelor, or bachelorette party. It is open seven days a week with late-late hours Thursday through Sunday.

The bar-nightclub offers an exciting hodgepodge of Djs, dancing, brunch, and bar free. A sign reading “giddy up” gives away the chain’s mantra, and the same sign is featured at the other locations. The space’s former tenant, Tippling Hall, was known for brunch and an innovative, at the time, kegged cocktail program.

During the day, the venue has a relaxed vibe. At Concrete Cowboy, there’s wings, a chicken sandwich (even available on Sundays) that’s inspired by Chick-Fil-A, and their take on a Chicago-style hot dog. If you get thirsty, grab a larger from the bar or guzzle down one of their speciality drinks. As the sun goes down, the surroundings of the venue transforms into a Wild West Party where the the younger crowds gather to choose and drink between one of the 13 signature cocktails, including the “Concrete Crush,” with vodka, raspberry liqueur, lemon juice, and Prosecco or the jumbo sized 115-once Moscow Mules.

This venue in Chicago is a restaurant/sports bar/lounge hybrid. Some may thrive in this type of city/Wild West hybrid environment. Others may think they’ve made a grave mistake. But if you are the the type of person who enjoys the sophisticated atmosphere of a nightclub but with the laid back energy of a sports bar, the Concrete Cowboy is the place for you.

Take a look at the menu and you will see that the Concrete Cowboy isn’t your typical sports bar. Their offerings include a full list of mouthwatering appetizers, salads, flat breads, and sides. They also offer a menu of handleds served with french fries such as their Texas Burger topped with smoked bacon, homemade BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and grilled onion, topped with a pretzel or Brioche bun.For dessert, indulge with a Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet or Nutella and Banana Stuffed Crescent Rolls.

The bar plays today’s hottest hits as well as upbeat house music, ensuring that everyone has a great time.Men should make sure to wear a collared shirt and or sport coat Try wearing nice shoes and avoid anything that can be considered sportswear (track jackets, jerseys, sport shoes, hats, etc). Except on game days, if you are not sure if your outfit will work out or not, stick to the guidelines.
