If you want to have a wild night out, The Zoo nightclub in Copenhagen is the place to be. Also known as Zoo Bar, this venue boasts an eclectic look, a young client base, and a great dance atmosphere, for the people who go out to dance and meet new people.

The venue itself has a large dance floor with amazing decor including mirror balls and state of the art lighting. Since they were last known as Zoo Bar they have eliminated the kitchen entirely and used it to boost the dance floor space. Absolutely perfect for the party animals who want to spend the whole night dancing. Of course this means less room for seating, so make sure to book a table if you want to have seats all night long.

The DJ at this popular nightclub in Copenhagen is on point, playing mostly new top 40 music, some hip hop and electronic, and the odd classic nightclub track. The music is definitely geared to keep you dancing. If you are more of a people-watcher the seating is positioned so you will be able to enjoy the dance floor without feeling like you're right in the middle of it.

Bottle service at the Zoo Bar is the full show. A bucket, sparklers, tableside attendance, everything you need to feel truly pampered. If you prefer cocktails, there are some cocktail mixer options for bottle service too, and the wait staff are happy to collect your order from the expert mixologist at the bar.

The dress code at this trendy Copenhagen club is fairly strict. Men need to be in business casual, with collared shirts and smart shoes, absolutely no sportswear. Women need to be in cocktail dresses or other similar classy and sexy looks. Wearing denim, men's jewellery, or very revealing clothing is acceptable. Sneakers, shorts, and distressed look clothes are not. The venue can get a bit warm, so make sure to dress fairly light, especially if you will be dancing. That said, they do have a cloakroom, so if you want to wear a warm coat on your way down, and check it in at the desk, there is no problem.

The club stays open until the early hours of the morning. Not quite late enough to be able to just walk out and get breakfast at a cafe, but by the time you get back to your hotel it should be time to have something to eat. If you are a fan of dancing all night long and touring the city the next day, then this is a great venue to spend your night at.

It is worth noting that the toilets are mixed sex. This doesn't seem to be a problem but if it is to you, then perhaps check out The Arch for a similar atmosphere with split toilets.

Because entrance is free this popular Copenhagen nightclub gets packed pretty fast. If you're planning on getting in, even if your outfit is perfect, you should get on the guest list and book a table.
