If you are looking for a classy nightclub in Switzerland, Baroque nightclub in Geneva is an ideal place to start. Located in the old town, this venue makes use of the historic features of the building and combines them with modern details to create an overall unique appearance, making the best use of the retro and vintage trends.
Inside it boasts the sort of luxury which its name suggests. The plush seating and soft orange and pink lighting gives this club a smooth, girly feel to it which many will appreciate. It combines tassels, chandeliers, and old fashioned portraits with chains and modern music.
The booths are fairly open, so if you want to sit you will end up sitting with other guests, which some people may like and others may not. It invites conversation and mingling in general, which is great if you're stopping by as a single person.
The VIP spaces are pure luxury, with ornate lounge chairs and gold trim everywhere. Bottle service is prompt and the bottles are of the highest quality. You will not be disappointed if you reserve a table with bottle service.

There is a smoking room for people who wish to smoke, which also means smokers are kept separate from non-smokers. This is great for both smokers and people with breathing difficulties.
The music is somewhere between Swiss electronic music and 90s American music, a nice mix that will keep you dancing. Great beats, local DJs, and a sound system that carries the music nicely throughout the building.
Like most European clubs, the party doesn't get properly started until one or two in the morning, but unlike most European clubs it doesn't seem to keep going all night. Rather, it gets much less lively around four and that is when most people will choose to go home.
Admission to the venue is free, but it is obligatory to use the cloak room for coats and bags. It is also a very high class venue, so if you are not very well dressed and preferably in high end brands, they will not let you in. If it is a busy night they will probably not let you in at the door, so it's essential to get on the guest list if you can, or to reserve a table. It is still pretty exclusive, and don't be surprised to be turned away, even if you made a reservation, if you are not properly dressed.
