The Sumosan Twiga London nightclub has been a feature of London's exclusive club scene since 2016. It is a curious mix of Italian cuisine, Japanese cuisine, and a relaxed nightclub in Slough. It occupies three floors and aims to rival its Moscow and Monte Carlo branches by competing with the boutique clubs in Sloane Street and beyond. Each floor has a different theme, with a restaurant, a lounge, and a bar, staying active much of the night.

Each floor has a different theme. The restaurant floor and the kitchens have a distinctly modern Italian feel to them, with clean white walls and a classy, quiet interior. The cuisine is an amazing fusion between Japanese and Italian, a combination that few would be brave enough to try and that only Club Sumosan Twiga has managed to pull off. Sumosan has in fact won awards for its Italian dishes and for its contemporary Japanese cuisine.

Its restaurant also offers an interesting tasting menu, where you can discover new and innovative dishes, or classic Italian meals recreated by Schiavo. With a broad range of delectable vegetarian dishes, nobody is going to be left out.
Follow the stunning Georgian stairwell up to the second floor to go to the bar for drinks. The stairwell itself is a feature, not a bug. It is absolutely beautiful and really adds to the glamorous, old- timey character of the Sumosan Twiga.
On the second floor you will find the bar with an amazing drinks selection. Just like the restaurant, the bar boasts classic, quiet Italian style. Also like the restaurant, the bar combines European and Japanese, by offering a wide array of European wines and some of the finest and most varied sake
selections in London.

The lounge and boot bar is definitely where you want to end your night. If you want to feel like the fattest cat in London, the lounge is decked out to make you feel more than at home as you relax, drink, and socialize with other Londoners who also enjoy the finer things in life. It has an oddly international feel to it, even so, and you will feel you can make yourself at home wherever you come from. Beyond the first floor the venue retains its crisp, quiet style, but moves from a light palette to a
darker one, inviting a luxurious evening of drinking and socializing.

The lounge and nightclub are also available for private hire, if you feel you would like to host a birthday bash, hen or stag night, or product launch in this uniquely classy venue. They have quick access to top international DJs, artists, and musicians for both private and everyday events. You can
enjoy a little dancing, and maybe even run into the odd local celebrity.

THE DRESS CODE AT SUMOSAN TWIGA

Dress codes can be confusing, so let us help you with our detailed, visual guides!

What is recommended:
The recommended look is the best one not just to get you in, but to make you feel at home.

The men here generally wear collared, button down shirts in white or similarly conventional colours. Some men wear ties and some do not. Most men will be in suit trousers but some will be in dark blue or black jeans or khakis. Men here keep their hair sprayed down or, if it is long, tied up. Male jewellery is rare and usually very subtle.

The women here generally wear sexy cocktail dresses. Low cut, exposed shoulders, but with a longer skirt is a great look to fit in. Most women will wear four or five pieces of jewellery, but keep it toned down. Around half the women will have their hair up, the other half will have it down. Make up is usually glamorous but in nude tones. A bold eye or a bold lip, but not both.

What is allowed:
The allowed clothes are the full range of what will get you through the door.

Sexy casual for men includes:
-button down shirts

-two piece suits

-black fitted jeans

-black or brown leather (or faux leather) polished shoes

-smart sweaters

-sports jackets

Sexy casual for women includes:
-little black dress

-cocktail dresses

-evening dresses

-relaxed style gowns

-skirt and a nice top

-high heels 2"-6" tall

What is a grey area:
The grey area are clothes that might be allowed some days/events and not others, or that are at the discretion of door staff. In short, if you happen to be in the area, wearing these clothes and want to check the club out, then maybe see if you can. You might get lucky. But if you are actually planning a night here? Avoid these and go for something closer to the dress code.

Men's suspenders are a grey area. They can look great, but it is way too close to the staff's clothes and being confused for staff is super awkward.

Very high heels are a grey area. If you can walk well in them and you are not very tall, you will probably be fine. But if they make you tower over the men, or you are wobbly, you might get turned away. Go with something you are comfortable in.

Women's trousers are a grey area. Sometimes, if the look is very much together, you will get in. But don't take your chances.

What is forbidden:
These clothes will get you turned away at the door, even if you are on the guest list, have a table with bottle service reserved, and it's your birthday. Sorry.

No sportswear. No trainers, sandals, sports shirts, light sporty nylon fabric, etc.

No shorts. Nothing except full-length trousers. 3/4 lengths, smart shorts, etc, are not acceptable.

No heavy, bulky, or puffy clothes. Take off outdoor coats and check them into the cloak room before going in.

No loose or saggy clothes. Nothing oversized either. Choose fitted and sexy.

No t-shirts. Never. Not even for women.

No "comfy" shoes. Timberlands, uggs, work style boots, and the likes, are best avoided.
