Yes, it is ordinarily a theatre, but since its 2015 revamp it is also an events venue, hosting everything from regular club nights to orchestral performances. It is the oldest still functioning theatre in the district, and the first legitimate Broadway Theatre. And, with a pedigree like that, it definitely attracts its fair share of celebrities.
The decor stays true to the original 1913 design, maintaining a stunning marble staircase, opera boxes, and beautiful flowers and cherubs everywhere, preserved from the original designs by Alfred Rosenheim.
