If you are looking for a more bare-bones, relaxed nightclub experience in Moscow, then you need to check out the Bar Gipsy nightclub. This sexy nightclub is everything you could wish for, with delectable drinks, beautiful guests, and great music all night long. You will not be disappointed.
The venue itself is a little bit small, with an open dance floor and a full bar available. However they really maximize the space, using the tall ceiling, balconies, and multiple levels to their advantage, to create an environment that feels open and welcoming despite how small the building is.
This Moscow club is not a traditional bar. It boasts a state of the art lighting and sound system that will put many larger clubs to shame, and the DJs that work here are very talented as well. You will love the music, and the atmosphere builds throughout the night, with great, danceable tunes being pumped out. It is really easy to forget you're not in an enormous venue when the atmosphere is at its best.
This club opens late and stays open well into the morning. You are actively encouraged to party the entire night away at this trendy Moscow club. Unlike some other venues, that stay open late but run out of steam around two in the morning, Bar Gypsy is one of the few places where you can expect to feel the same energy basically all night long. A few ups and downs, but the clientele are truly passionate about this fun and sexy venue. And you will be truly passionate too, after a night or two here, dancing with beautiful hard bodied Russians, drinking great cocktails, and enjoying some of the best DJs in Moscow.
The drinks here run a little expensive, as you would expect at a club that is often crowded to the brim, and the cover fee can be higher depending on how busy they are that particular night. If you want to avoid messing around too much, try asking about packages and bottle service, which will save you time and money and give you the opportunity to just enjoy yourself instead.
Because the venue largely caters to locals, it can be hard to get in unless you can speak to the bouncers directly. Make sure to practise your Russian, or stop by with someone who is fluent, to try and get in. If you do not know anyone and cannot speak Russian, you basically need to be on the guest list to get in. And remember that any form of ID other than a passport may be seen as suspicious, so make sure to have your passport on you.
As far as the dress code is concerned, they expect you to be dressed smart casual, ideally wearing high quality brands. However they may be a bit more lenient where sportswear is concerned when the venue is not very busy, or when you are on the guest list or have a reservation.
