At L'Eden nightclub in Paris you can enjoy a wild college-style party for most of the night, right in the heart of the 8th Arrondissement. It is an unassuming little building that really comes to life when the lights go down and the bass drops.
The décor has a very retro, around late 80s, early 90s vibe. A nice, wide open dance floor, a bare bones setting with great lighting, and a tall ceiling allows for some amazing acoustics, and the projected display and very visible DJ booth adds to the overall experience of this Paris club.
Expect a bit of a show, with amazing state of the art lighting, confetti cannons, and balloons, among other features, being quite standard every night. The beats are very modern and trendy, and the on-site DJ seems to focus more on house, hip hop, and R&B. A lot of the music has no vocals at all, but when they play a track with vocals it will most likely be in French.
The crowd is very young and sexy. We're talking 18-29, leaning to under 25s, ready to hit the club and dance all night. The set up of the venue, the low prices, and the modern music encourages you to stay on your feet, drinking, dancing, and socializing all night long. If you're looking for a place to unwind after a long night hitting the clubs, then you are in the wrong place.
Be warned that it caters largely to a French audience. There is not a lot of information about them on the English-speaking web, it can be hard to get on the guest list, and the people at the door and bar may speak little to no English at all. And again, because the club goers are mostly French, the action really starts after midnight. You won't find the same energy if you arrive at ten or eleven, that's for sure.
To get into L'Eden club Paris, you need to be dressed smart casual. Men can get away with t-shirts and uncollared shirts so long as they are neat and clean. Jeans are great. Sportswear is an absolute no-go. Women need to be wearing nice, trendy cocktail dresses. The exact style is again not too relevant. You can choose to go classy or sexy. Again, no active wear or sportswear.
L'Eden in Paris also offers a variety of night themes. Their WILD events cater to a general clubbing audience and are your best bet for a night of crazy fun, especially if you are just passing through as a tourist. However they also offer after work deals, including happy hour, which might be suitable for early birds who want to have a bit of a drink and get ready for the night. And they have student events too. You will need to provide your ID to get in, but you will find discounted drinks, a trendier selection of music, and a much younger crowd than usual. Whatever your needs, there is a night for you.
