The Kilo Lounge first opened in February 2014 in 66 Kampong Bugis Torre Building. Initially, its Artistic Themed Lounge provided a visually impaired visitor to the guests, who were stuck in a graphical factory covered in a manual cargo lift, so that they could go to the lounge area on the eighth floor. The raw space was a host of international DJs, thought-provoking discussions and performances, and meetings of continuing parties, gourmet cocktails, creative bites, and good companies. Kilo Lounge made its official comeback on Friday, 16th December 2016, at a brand new location at 21 Tanjong Pagar Road.
Find them in a back lane, step through into a delicious garden walkway through their graffiti-ed doors, and navigate your way through a concrete tunnel into their dance floor. Its Ulu was imported into the former house of Kallang Riverside Park in the Kilo Lounge - where AL fresco’s sister restaurant Kilo Kallang is still accessible to the Tanjong Pagar, by a graffiti-smeared back alley. Meander a jungle-like walkway and winding concrete tunnel as thumping beats pulsate, then step in for a night of hip-hop, techno, reggae, dancehall or dub. Recent guests behind the decks include producers Petar Dundov and Kim Ann Foxman. Tucked at the Tanjong Pagar Road, the Kilo Lounge has a hidden getaway and, a place for good vibes and even good music.
Kilo Lounge has gained popularity over the past few months for the best places to enjoy the evening. Tucked away from the mainstream in the back alley of Tanjong Pagar Road, this hidden gem provides the perfect atmosphere for party lovers to unwind after a long workweek. Most of the original characters have been preserved, with an endless concrete finishing and a comfortable lounge with bar and dance floor has been created.
The unique Asian style menu at the Kilo is nothing like the food that is a common bar around the country. The lounge menu offers flicker popcorn like Jalapeno Honey, Truffled Tai Yuzu Roll and its popular Wasabi Tuna Tartar, which are no less than the quality of the high-quality restaurants. Here you can see the signature-style spicy Margaritas from Kilo Mojitos and shots of deadly jalapeno tequila, which are not for the smell of the heart. On Wednesdays, the lounge doors are open at 6 pm to 10 pm, offering a night and no cover charge for steady fun for free alcoholic ladies.
There is something for everyone in this club. On Thursday, the strong and spirit devotees have a treat for reggae music and dance beats. Kilo lounges know that those who came before midnight will have to start a team with free complimentary drinks at the house. Party lovers can go house pours on Thursday and get certain discounts on bar food along with wines. Whether it is Dancehall queen MAS1A or DJ Wild of France in Singapore, Kilo Lounge teams are often run by the world-renowned DJ, which provides quality music to dance to increase their energy levels.
