This is not a VIP club. It has no guest list and everyone gets in.

In December 2015, launched by nightlife mavens, Clement Chin and Yellen Chan(aka Cats On Crack), The Council has emerged as a passionate project to inspire a community of punters and music, who shared their love for electronic music and wished for a night out that was different from the local landscape. In a small shop-house unit in Boat Quay, their new house headquarters organised international guest crews such as Kaiser Souzai, Goldfinch, Sunju Hargun, and Mendy Indigo. Headquarters by The Council is located at 66 Boat Quay, Level 2, Singapore 049854.

Anon- frills club is located on the second floor of a shop-house; you can expect it to be a perfect underground club, because of its dark and sweaty gyrating bodies, heart- thumping disco and techno beats. Their pop-up is well known for underground teams, such as the Haan of the CBD Writing Ground. The Council recently transferred their parties to their new home base, to the council's headquarters.

The new HQ will host their general council series on Wednesday; resident DJ Julien Brochard with other local DJ will make performances as well as electronic beats. The duo behind the council, KOI Izakaya owner, local comedian Eileen Chan aka, DJ Cats and KOI Izakaya will play the role of these parties and Eileen will be calling in time. It's about the time that people come together and pepper as a celebration chamber; and for one of their favourite dancing monsters, this year marks the discovery of a new world of music. Now of dancing, there are beetroots, and you find yourself motivated by warmth, chills running through your body. When the song ends, and lights overturn, you get more satisfaction from yourself. You have been oppressed, and your musical addiction is revealed here.

Although most clubs in Singapore blame the commercial EDM while others try to maintain a balance between the mainstream and the underground nights, yet The Council's headquarters can be knit off from all sides. The house, the tech-house, and techno are your usual suspects; you can listen to all of their derivative sub-generators, given time to shine, deep, tribal, an acid timeline of the Head of the HQ. Just a few months before the age of three months, HQ has fallen below the regional nobility like international Young Marco, and Sunju Hargun, Mendy Indigo and Jonathan Kusuma - if you want to discover the underground words of this region, and then look for HQ's new Foreign Affairs series.

This must certainly provide the main advisory groups from Wednesday to Saturday (and even some Sundays), giving DJ Exposures on both sides and punters their ravey respite. For anyone craving, pure underground music in neither a setting where you have to dress to impress nor put on airs, Headquarters by The Council should be your go-to playground. It does not compromise, it does not make it perfect, it does not make it very difficult, and it does not take long for any person to realise that there is something special about this.
