The Palais Maillot nightclub in Paris is quite nicely sized, with an open dance floor, an elevated bar area, and a tunnel of booths. The dance floor is spacious, allowing for many people to groove and mingle without feeling cramped or too warm. The elevated bar creates a nice separation between the dance floor and the service area, and seems to help speed up how quickly drinks arrive. And the lounge area, with soft lighting and comfortable, open plan seating, lets you enjoy the music and watch the dancing in comfort.
The overall theme is that of a grand ballroom. The warm wooden floorboards, elaborate chandeliers, and a rococo-style bar set up all create the sense of being in the great hall of a grand palace, as the name suggests. The lounge is a little more modern, with LED lighting and a steady, pleasant glow, ideal for selfies and relaxing. There is some outdoor seating and a TV available if you are more in the mood for a quiet conversation or a few drinks watching a show.
The music at the Palais Maillot club in Paris is quite standard fare. Pop, rock, electronic, and house tend to dominate. The DJs are local talent and in-house DJs. As far as we can tell they do not feature celebrity DJs, although some very talented Parisian DJs have featured too. Overall the music is fun and very danceable, though, and you will enjoy yourself on the floor.
The drinks at this Paris nightclub are delightful. Specialist cocktails, high end bottles, unique blends by trained mixologists... Expect some of the best drinks in Paris at this nightclub. However remember that you have to pay for that level of quality. The prices are incredibly high end, and you could easily sink a couple of nights worth of money here.
They have a bag and jacket check-in, but it is not advised to use it. It can get incredibly busy and there is a good chance you will have to wait half an hour or more until they get to you, find yours, and bring it to you. Not ideal if you are tired and wanting to get back to your hotel! They also offer valet parking service. This is not as overused, so you will not need to wait too long to get your car back, but it is still smarter to consider using a taxi service or a carpool service.
The venue is insanely crowded and you can expect to queue a while before getting in. You really need to be on the guest list or to order bottle service to guarantee a night in this exclusive venue. Even so, you need to be dressed smartly, but hip. Can't get in in anything slobby, but you will have a hard time getting in if you look overdressed too. Go for smart casual, no sportswear, and you stand a pretty good chance. But being on the guest list is still essential.
