Known as the longest running nightclub and lounge in Atlanta, the Venue opened its doors at Buckhead Village in 1994, but it was relocated in 2007 to its current Buckhead location, just off of Piedmont Road. Although, it was displaced by developers, it would take more than a wrecking ball to keep them down. The club changed its place, but took with it the spirit of the great party and the desire of constant upkeep, redesigning the interior in order to stay on the leading edge of technology. The dress code has also changed; At one time, it required sports coats for gentlemen, but now it acknowledges that jeans and sneakers are fashion forward.
It is owned and operated by Michael Krohngold, Scott Strumlauf, and David Kreidler. It has been featured in The New York Times, USA Today, The Robb Report, Atlanta magazine, DJ Times, and Nightclub & Bar magazine amongst others, and most recently on TMZ network television and online at E Entertainment news.
