This energetic new Parisian nightclub has been hailed by some as the new Chez Raspoutine in the French capital, and for good reason! Opening in September last year, it immediately stood out as one of the most chic new clubs in the 8th arrondissement. The owner of the Raspoutine and the Ginger himself, Alexander Ghislain, and the stakeholder behind London's Toy Room nightclub have paired up once again to create this immersive experience. And it is every bit as magical as their last cooperation, in L'Arc
Club and Restaurant.
Designed by Charles Tassin, this is a highly conceptual, highly modern venue. The concept for the Boum Boum club focuses on an arena styled layout, so the focus is entirely on the music and the sights, creating a sort of theatrical experience as the backdrop for your club night. The neon lighting, glossy surfaces, and mirrored walls create a true sense of openness and luxury, whilst the comfortable seating is perfect for resting your legs after dancing for hours on end. The experience is highlighted by 70s style retro details, from bare spotlights to café-style mirrored tables.
The Boum Boum nightclub offers two distinct environments with a few separate options in each, so that whether you are looking for a quiet, relaxed lounge, or an energetic clubbing experience, you will find something for you in this Paris dance club. Our favourites have got to be the micro bar, which is a wonderful place to sip cocktails and people watch, and the terrace, overlooking avenue de Friedland, which is a great place to hang out with friends or get away from the noise a bit and get to know new people.
The Boum Boum club focuses on high energy dance classics without worrying too much about genre. Any strong hit from the last forty years could feature, but it is all very danceable: electronic, hip hop, rock, etc. Most of the music is English, too, which makes a refreshing change from clubs that focus entirely on French pop and hip hop. Incorporating some of the best concepts that have been popular at Japanese and Korean clubs for a long time, the Boum Boum in Paris encourages audience participation, from karaoke to huge XXL screens across the walls. If you want to really get out there and strut your stuff, this club is made for it.
The guests at this young, fun, yet extravagant Paris nightclub are some of the most beautiful, trendy, wealthy young people in the city, with a healthy mix of local nightlife royalty and visiting celebrities. This is a perfect celebrity nightclub for running into models, artists, and wealthy up and coming CEOs.
Getting into the Boum Boum club is not easy. It only just opened in late 2017, it's chic, it's designed by some of the greatest minds in nightlife creation, and it's frequented by celebrities. The only way to get in is to make sure that you are on the guest list and have a reservation. And make sure to come dressed smart casual or business casual. Sportswear, subculture clothes, and distressed items are absolutely forbidden.
