The decor inside the venue is a modern twist on the classic 90s warehouse nightclub. Wide, open plan flooring offers plenty of room to dance, and the bare bones roof set up allows the lights to move freely and keep the atmosphere vibrant and exciting. But added to this stripped down club is a touch of luxury, from comfortable leather booths to sophisticated modern cocktails, adding that glamorous edge to the nostalgic nightclub design. The balance of artsy and edgy is just right, making this LA nightclub a great venue for young, enthusiastic club goers.
The music at Sound is always fresh and modern, from the latest hits to amazing house and techno remixes. On Tuesdays they have a Space Yacht theme where they play trap and bass almost all the night, which is pretty awesome too. In short, if you're looking for the sound of modern LA, a great dance club, and a pumping atmosphere full of sexy hard bodies dancing the night away, the Sound club LA is the place for you.
The state of the art lighting system really complements the amazing sound system, keeping you dancing all night long with great light shows. The lighting in the booths is flattering and idea for selfies or for meeting new people. The touch of intimacy is ideal for young couples.
If you enjoy great cocktails, then this is one of the best places in LA for a superbly mixed drink. Sound counts on not one or two, but three bars, all of which are full bars, so you know you will be able to get your classic bottles and amazing cocktails wherever you are in the venue. The price for drinks can get a bit high, even for a high class Los Angeles nightclub, so consider yourself warned.
The Sound is also a great entertainment venue, and not just for the guests themselves, who put on one hell of a show, but also because they have regular go-go dancers and top LA DJs to keep the mood rocking all night long. If you want to watch people and enjoy the scene, this is a great club for you.
Unless you are on the guest list you will pretty much always have to pay cover. Even if you have reserved a table you can expect to pay something towards cover. However the staff are usually friendly and helpful when you have a concern, and you may be able to negotiate a deposit towards the bar instead of paying cover outright if they are having a slow night. That said, it's much easier to avoid the trouble in the first place and just get on the guest list or reserve bottle service. Bear in mind this is a 21+ venue.
