If you're looking for the best nightclub in Stockholm, then look no further than the Café Opera nightclub. The finest of clubs near Karl XII's Torg has everything you need to enjoy a wonderful night, from a full bar, to an amazing atmosphere, to some beautiful and high class clientele. Of all the places to go in Stockholm, this needs to be on your list. The official age limit here is 23, but this is subject to change each day. Walking into the Café Opera Club in Stockholm, you will be overwhelmed by the beautiful decor. Based in an actual 1890s opera house, this club has all the stunning features of the era, from elaborately pieced together plastering, to high arches, from decorated ceilings to amazing huge windows drawing in stunning natural light during the day. With ample floor space you will find comfortable long booths laid out across the room. The alternating black and cream tones maintain the venue's sophisticated appearance, not taking away from the wonderful original design of the building. The gorgeous chandeliers provide soft and subtle lighting for you to relax under as you people watch. The main hall is enormous. A true combination of an old fashioned ballroom and a modern dance floor, you can dance to some of the best tunes in town. They run different nights, with some focusing on modern rock, some on new music in the top 40s, and some on throwbacks, so make sure to find out in advance what night you will be attending. All this space also makes for an excellent foundation on which to build a solid lighting system. You will enjoy theatre-quality spotlights, strobes, and a state of the art system that builds one of the best nightlife atmospheres. Besides all that, the drinks are to die for. Prestigious big name bottles, as well as a full bar, including some house special cocktails that are as amazing as you would expect anywhere in LA or Las Vegas. The prices aren't too bad for a club, either, although of course you need to get in, which may cost a bit. And if you're wondering about the sort of clientele that frequents this stunning venue? The list of famous faces seen at this premium celebrity nightclub is enough to drive you crazy. Madonna, Mick Jagger, Eminem, Britney, Kate Moss, Public Enemy, Richard Attenborough, Tiger Woods, Snoop Dogg, Tyra Banks, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Iron Maiden... need I go on? The list of A-Listers that have been seen at this stunning Stockholm club is extensive, and you are sure to run into some beautiful and interesting people when you visit. Of course, such a premium venue is not going to be easy to get into. You can't just show up at the door and expect to get in. You need to be on the guest list, as a bare minimum. And even then, the venue is in very busy, so you probably want to reserve a table and bottle service. Dress code is anywhere from smart casual to super formal depending on the event, so find out in advance.

This unique concept nightclub near Birger Jarlsgatan is based out of a refurbished trendy apartment. Whether intentionally or not, the name of the Spy Bar in Stockholm conjures up images of a trendy little speakeasy in the corner of a building, where people can hide away from the turmoil of everyday city life. And in many ways, that is exactly what it is. It is barely announced by a small, unassuming neon sign on the corner of the balcony overlooking the street, and at first glance you might not guess that this is one of the hottest clubs in Sweden. But it is a wonderful little haven for locals and tourists alike, which will make you feel truly at home. The official age limit here is 23, but this is subject to change each day. The furnishings at this, one of Stockholm's most popular nightclubs, is a curious blend of traditional nightclub lighting and cosy furnishings, ranging from the carefully decorated, marble-topped bar, to the chic blackboards displaying the drinks menu, to the traditional floor rugs and carefully carved tables and chairs. Spy Bar in Stockholm opens late, until five in the morning sometimes, allowing you to party all night long. It is less of a rave and dance club, though, and more of a relaxed lounge, where people can sit, sip exquisite drinks, and either watch the goings on inside the club, or look out over the streets as the night rolls by. The full bar serves plenty of traditional bar beverages, as well as a selection of cocktails and premium bottles. And if you are looking for bottle service, then this is a great place to start, as you will be able to enjoy some delightful cocktails. The drinks are largely decently priced, but the cover fee and cloak room will cost a bit, so bring plenty of money with you. The age limit is a bit higher than in most European and American clubs again: around twenty three. You will need to carry ID with you. The Spy nightclub in Stockholm reserves the right to turn anyone away at the door if they suspect the person is underage, the person is not carrying ID, or they suspect their ID to be falsified. A passport is the best option, as even someone who is not native to your country will be able to understand that it is a valid form of ID. And, as always, make sure that you can speak a little Swedish or are with a Swedish friend if you want to guarantee entry, as any dispute may have to be with a bouncer who does not speak English. The guest list can sometimes be difficult to get on, but it is definitely recommended. Bottle service is much easier to get and will help you get in as well. Like with most Stockholm nightclubs, you will want to be dressed to the nines to get in, too. Crisp button down shirt, no torn or sports clothing, dresses and heels for the ladies. And carry yourself with dignity and grace, or else they may assume you have been drinking already and refuse entry.
